This report allows you to see the number of issues that were created on a specific date. This report is useful for visualizing the growth of a product backlog or the number of service requests entered in a help desk.

Common Uses

To visualize the new issues added to your product's backlog over the last month, use the JQL search option, or an existing filter, to select open issues in your projects that correspond to your backlog. Then simply specify one of the automatic date ranges for Time Period (such as Last Month), select the break downs you wish to see with the Segment By option, and run the report.
